Rolex Submariner Date 40, reference 16610, featuring a black dial, black aluminium bezel and classic 40mm Oystersteel case with Oyster bracelet.
Dating to 2001, this example represents the long-running five-digit generation of the Submariner Date, retaining the traditional 40mm proportions and aluminium bezel that distinguish it from later ceramic-bezel references.
This particular watch is presented as a Collector’s Set. The reference 16610 is powered by Rolex’s automatic calibre 3135 and features a date display beneath the signature Cyclops lens, together with water resistance to 300 metres.
This watch has previously been sold by Atlas Watches London. Every watch offered by Atlas is carefully inspected and authenticated, with viewings available by appointment at our Hatton Garden showroom.
